Thought I lost this forever, and when I got my drive restored it was so unorganized that telling final cut how where to find the files was like trying to put a jigsaw puzzle back together. Some of the clips just completely disappeared, or got renamed or relocated.

Anyways, after feeling totally frustrated with that for a few weeks I found the folder where I had the individual parts already Exported, which is the only way I was able to bring this thing back to life.

When I first heard Salem's "King Night" last year I thought this would be a great track for a Skate video trailer or intro.

Some guys from Arizona put a nice little trailer together for their film called BOYISH, which is also a great title. I also really like the effects used in the title sequences.

It's been so long since I finished Broheim Web Gnar, lost it for over two months, and then got it back that people have just fully stopped asking about seeing it again. The other things in my life are calming down a little so hopefully I will have time in the coming weeks to put the video all back together again, and maybe start posting a bit at a time...

I will be hosting a video night once or twice a month at the baitshop on Thursday evenings. I am going to try to show videos that are less common on the shelves of the average skate shop. Hopefully I am more of a scene video nerd than most Toronto skaters and they will see a need to come out to watch these instead of watching internet bootlegs.

The first bunch over the next month or so will be Japanese vids and we will be charging ten bucks a head for which 100% of the money will go to the Red Cross Japan relief effort.

Since the dates changed from my last post I had more time to make a good flyer. I am really stoked on this artwork that Agata put together for me!

Here are some things I saw in and around Sao Paulo while shotgunning in various hatchbacked vehicles. The foto taking was sparse as I was advised not to take my phone or camera out while out in the streets.

My only day in Garopaba was filled with rain from beginning to end. No surfing!?

Was also stoked to meet this dude who possesses both a grip of gangster skateboarding skill and the ability to make sweatpants look completely legit...He wasn't as tall as I expected.

Agata just finished putting together the Fall 2011 Oliberte catalog. I was working on these
shoe designs over the summer/fall of last year.

So last summer some friends and I made this video for a KingShit magazine contest. Since I was off blogging I didn't bother to post it. And since my Hard Drive seems to be broken and this video may never get posted to Vimeo, I'll just throw the link up here from King Shit along with some of ARKAN's stills

In related news, Broheim Web-Gnar never got fully finished and I'm having a mild pani right now thinking it may be lost forever. Luckily I still have all the raw DV footage but I can't imagine re-making the whole video. Cross Fingers that Lucasz the Computer Ninja can help me.

Slacking Internet Presence

Aside from the DVD's not burning properly, renting a faulty audio junction box, one speaker not working and having to full screen preview the video from Final cut off of my Laptop, the video premiere went rather well.

Lots of people asking where to get copies but I've been taking a break from the video for the holidays. This week I will figure out my DVD issues and hopefully get a copy up on the Vimeo account as well.

I suppose I should also post the Connect the Dots vid too, huh? My internet presence has been slacking.

Currently I've got some new projects on the go and I hope to drop them under a new studio name sometime in the coming months. The new projects center around re-purposing waste materials from different industries and using them to create useful products.

I have decided that as I develop the new studio there will most likely be a blog component that will go along with it and this blog will become more of a hub for my skate related projects.
